I don't know if you call this a handbill or a playbill, either way it is pretty cool. Please note that my scanner washes everything out so the photo with the blue background gets the taupe color of the paper correct.
This 1914 handbill is for a performance of The Master Mind at the Majestic Theatre. This would be the Cutler Majestic Theatre now at Emerson College. There are a lot of famous actors that were in this play, including: Edmund Breese (Duck Soup), Joseph Crehan (Played Ulysses S. Grant nine times in the movies), Francine Larrimore (premiered Roxy Hart in Chicago on Broadway), Frederic Ormonde (Shakespearean actor), and Donald Meek (You Can't Take it With You.)
This handbill measures 6" by 10 1/2". It was at one time folded into quarters but I have had it stored flat for years. There is wear to the edges and along the folds. There is a spot on the left edge. Please note the scans for condition and ask any questions.
This will be shipped in a rigid envelope.
