Here you found our 1983 Mercedes 300TD. It was finished in Champagne (MB color code 473) with Palomino color MB Tex interior. The body is straight with only minor little dings and the paint still shines like on a much newer car. The interior is in good condition as well, as this wagon has mostly been garaged. There are no rips or tears in the seats and they are still firm. This car has only been driven 210k miles and has been properly maintained. The Mercedes diesel cars of the 80ies are known to go for over 600k miles on the same engine without any major work if maintained properly. There are several Mercedes diesel of this vintage on Ebay right now with over 400k miles and still driving well. The tires were replaced in January and they have less than 3000 miles on them. The AC has been charged and blows cold. The car has been serviced and i would not hesitate driving it long distance at short notice. It always starts up right away, has plenty of power and shifts smooth through all the gears. This 38 year old classic Mercedes really stands out and i do get compliments on it all the time.I would prefer to sell it locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it. But i would also assist in shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do any "due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid.
