    Description

Great classic Van. 1985 Econoline XL Work Van. I'm the 2nd owner and it was recently purchased from Texas with way below average miles and shows quite nice for a 37 year old work Van. The paint is faded with some cracking, chips and scratches and small pings and dents, undercarriage is rust free except for some areas of surface rust. Recent Carb rebuilt and vacuum lines replaced, runs very well. It is equipped with A/C, however, not currently working. Well optioned with 5.0 302 Engine, Captain Chairs, Power Windows, map lighting, ceiling panels, upgraded Hubcaps, Pop out window Vents, Display Van Option (windows on one side only makes for a excellent camper conversion candidate), Chrome Front Bumper and Chrome Rear Step Bumper, side molding, recent Class 3 Hitch (no wiring), heavy duty radiator (runs cool), sliding Passenger Door and Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. Well documented History. I hate to see it go, however, selling my storage facility and no longer have the space for it and cannot see this classic sitting outdoors. The original owner had placed paneling on all interior walls with insulation and covered the wheel wells and a after market bench seat which lays flat and is also equipped with seatbelts, the bench seat can be easily removed by removing the butterfly screws. The previous owner had also placed plywood to cover the rugs since day one preserving the original carpet, looks great. All original van. Current issues are as follows; tires have plenty of thread, however, they are dated, oil leak from Pan, transmission fluid leak from the base of the dipstick tube, purchased new O-Rings that will be included with sale, I do not have the time to do it, surface rust on drip rail above drivers door and above rear passenger side window drip rail (both pictured), after market radio not working, lights up, however, no sound, both drivers seat and passenger seats are coming apart at the seams, however, have custom made seat covers that will be included with the sale (cost 0), A/C has been upgraded to accept modern freon, however, possibly needs a new condenser. All of the mentioned issues are easily corrected with some time, I do not have the time and soon not the space. I believe in full disclosure and have tried to described this Van to the best of my knowledge, however, I may have missed a thing or two, must see it in person to better evaluate this van. AS-IS and as expected with any used vehicle, especially one this old new issues may arise at any time. I have driven this van sporadically and after the Carb rebuild she runs very smooth and transmission shifts as it should. Thanks for looking.
