Antique Large Hammered Copper Coal & Ash Scuttle Bucket

This beautiful large antique handcrafted scuttle bucket is a great accent for your fireside hearth or in any room.
A rare find for its style, thickness and good weight of 8.2 lbs. Impressive antique copper scuttle bucket.
History and maker unknown; it’s probably from the early 1900 decades.
Approx dimensions: height with handle up 20”, height of bucket 12”, diameter of top 8.5”, and diameter of bottom 12”.
Thick swivel handle has a smooth rounded finish. A small handle also accents the front of scuttle bucket.
Very good condition for a used antique scuttle bucket. Hammered copper surface is in nice condition, some very slight small dents and few lines in texture but unsure if just how hammered. Normal signs of age and use on inside and bottom surfaces. Bottom rim is the only thinner metal on bucket, has some small dents and uneven edge from use or how it was made. Handles have some small marks and dents. There is a brass color metal sealant on vertical seam (see photo). Seam joints have some pale green hue as seen with copper. Most listed above is usual for antique handcrafted buckets and hammered copper, and adds to their charm and character.
No polish or cleaners were used on surface, to protect its natural patina. Bucket used only for display since 2003.
