Up for sale is this Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Masonic Compass Lapel Pin which weighs 0.24 Grams and a safety Screw- on Back which weighs 0.49 Grams. Condition is pre owned.
I remember purchasing this for my Dad in a jewelry store in Manhattan near 23rd Street and Park Avenue South in the 70’s when I worked for Chase Manhattan Bank. My Dad and his Lodge brothers had a fun contest going to see who could find the smallest Masonic pin. When I came across this one I just had to buy it for him. So small and yet because of the workmanship cost me a small fortune back then. My Dad passed in 1983 and this pin has been in my jewelry box ever since. I’m hoping this pin goes to someone special that will cherish it as much as my Dad did. My Dad was a great guy and loved being a Mason and was so proud of this pin! Pin itself is 14k yellow gold. I’m taking a picture of the pin with a dime for size comparison coin is not part of the sale.
