Part of a project to liquidate all the various salesman demo units from a local Minnesota Endress + Hauser manufacturer's rep.  A friend of mine owned this process control business for a long time until his retirement and the resulting sale of the business last year.  He since asked my business, Lakeside Liquidators, to sell all of the demo units.  Either the new owner is starting a new model year of Endress, or dropped the line completely, or simply doesn't have the experience in selling in a marketplace type channel.
Both my friend the old owner, and the new owner, told me they would know of no reason why any of the flowmeters would not work as his sales force surely would have told him if so as they would always want/need a working unit to show customers to make a sale.
The switching unit FTL325P is used for point level detection in liquid tanks and bulk material silos, also in hazardous explosion areas. Also suitable for liquid detection in pipes for dry running protection for pumps and overfill prevention for tanks with combustible or non-combustible liquids harmful to water. Up to 3 measuring devices for two-point control and point level detection. Functional safety up to SIL3 in accordance to IEC 61508 using Liquiphant with electronic insert FEL57.
