Solid Brass Fireplace Tools Decorative Crafts Hunting Set 4 Pcs + Fender

Description

The tool set includes an original ornate unique shovel, a pair of tongs, the holder, and a poker.
The stand features a hunting dog which is lying down at the front of the base. Behind the dog is a hunting rifle leaning up against a tree trunk, a horn hanging at the top, and the hunter's game, a Rabbit, a Duck and a Pheasant.
The branches and leaves of the tree form the ornate arms that hold the tools in place. The tool set measures approximately 25.25" tall but the stand is only about 20.25" tall x 9.25" deep.
The brass fender is very ornate & matches perfectly although it does not have a makers name on it.  It measures approximately 30.25" wide x 7.25" deep x 6.25" tall.  It's heavy (about 8lbs.)  Not sure if this is Virginia Metal Crafters...there is a metal plate screwed into the underside & hard to get off...
It was all purchased at an estate sale in VA.  A very beautiful, solid set that would look great in a man cave or hunting cabin.
