Up for auction is a set of VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRONZE BELL METAL? ANDIRONS BALL AND STEEPLE CHIPPENDALE STYLE.
This is an elegant pair of tall Chippendale / Federal style andirons with steeple top over ball on cylindrical columns with arched legs ending in small flat feet. The uprights have a reddish tint typical of a type of bronze known as Bell Metal (an alloy with high copper content).  The log rests are made out of wrought iron.  Parts screw together with each other and can be disassembled for shipping, cleaning, etc.  In good used condition with normal wear.  May need polishing depending on your taste.  Each andiron measures approximately 22-1/2" tall by 8" wide by 17-1/2" deep with a 3-1/2" diameter ball.  Please allow the many pictures along with any questions to be the final determination of condition.  Thanks for looking and "GOOD LUCK"!!!!
