    Description

Up for sale today is this July, 1936 playbill from the Jones Beach Theater at Jones Beach, Long Island, New York. The playbook is not dated, but The New York TImes for July 12th, 1936, describes the opening night for the show "The Student Prince", as being a sellout, with just over ten thousand in attendance, and several hundred more turned away for lack of seating room. The article goes on to note that Ilse Marvenga, who created the role of "Kathie" for the play, was once again playing her original role she originally starred in during the show's first run on Broadway several years earlier. The playbill says to look forward to the next event in the summer play series, "Rose Marie", which was schedule to debut July 21st, so this probably only play a handful of times at most, perhaps just on July 11th. I was unable to locate anything very similar to this, so I am just offering it up for sale for a miminal starting bid price.--
THIS IS AN 8 PAGED PLAYBOOK COUNTING THE WRAPPERS, WHICH MEASURES 11 BY 8 AND 1/2 INCHES IN DIAMETER--I AM PUTTING THIS UP FOR SALE AT A LOW STARTING BID WITH NO RESERVE, OR FEEL FREE TO SUBMIT YOUR BEST OFFER---GARY FROM HAUNTED MANSION RELIX
