    I purchased these off of Etsy and have not used them. Hope someone else can.
    These yellow silver chips that are just the right size for small soldering jobs like jump rings, clasps and earring posts!
    (here are the temperatures from a torch - not an iron:
    HARD - 20% Silver: Melt Temperature: 1,350°F (732°C)
    Flow temperature: 1,500ºF (816°C)
    These chips are Made in the USA and do not contain nickel or lead.
    Estimated over 6000 chips to 1/4 ounce.
